Microsoft may soon be adding another smartphone to its roster after the RM-1099 Lumia reportedly passed inspection over in Indonesia. Relatively unknown, it remains to be seen what the RM-1099 official name and model would be. RM-1099 is the product code of the handset.
The RM-1099 thus joins a slew of other models that gained certification over in Indonesia. It follows other models such as the RM-1072 and the RM-1077.
Aside from gaining approval, the official specs of the RM-1099 remains a mystery. The earlier models like the RM-1077 did reveal some specs. The RM-1077 features a 5-inch 720p display. However, like the RM-1099 and the RM-1072, the official model and name have yet to be revealed or at least leaked.
Regardless, this development further bulks up the roster of yet-to-be-named Microsoft handsets, which will of course run on the Windows Phone OS.
However the official title and specs for these handsets could be out within a couple of days, possibly at the same time that the company would discuss the future of Windows Phones as well as the latest version of their Windows Phone OS. Any guesses on the specs? How about the official model for this latest handset from Microsoft-Nokia?
