A lot of fans have been craving for the upcoming third season of the hit "Rick and Morty" show. With this, fans have always been on the lookout for new developments for the series, and some recent reports are now claiming that the new season will undergo some plot modifications since Dan Harmon is still unsure whether or not to use the "Interdimensional Cable" theme just yet.

According to the Game N Guide, rumors about the third season include just continuing where the last season left off, but it seems that there will be more to it, especially in terms of the plot. After all, Dan Harmon was thinking that the Interdimensional Cable might be repetitive already and thus might bore the viewers once the third season is out.

As a lot of the fans already remember, this Adult Swim series had already used the plot for the first two seasons, which still drew the attention of millions of viewers worldwide.

Regardless, Harmon is still pushing for the third season to become an entirely different experience compared to the first two installments, as some changes will ensure that the excitement is doubled for "Rick and Morty" season 3.

Furthermore, the fans should expect more twists and turns for the new series as new characters will join the new season to add more depth and story to "Rick and Morty."

Meanwhile, News Everyday reports that the third season will be fast-paced in terms of its storyline. The story will move forward pretty fast and it is expected that after catching up where it left off, then the series will railroad ahead and leave behind what happened last season. This is to ensure that the series will move on to a new topic and not become too focused on one aspect.

Regardless, it is expected that the third season of the "Rick and Morty" show will premiere sometime in December 2016.
