In the season finale of "Rick and Morty" season 3, Rick Sanchez was obviously unhappy with the outcome of his efforts, thus he was forced to submit to his family again for "family's sake." Just as the McDonald's Schezuan dipping sauce came back (for a day), fans wonder if "Rick and Morty" will be back too for a future season. Creators say it's possible, but definitely not so soon.

Rick can have all the more reasons to rejoice again because the grandfather-grandson tandem of Rick and Morty has been said to come back for a yet another exciting season, and the millions of fans of the wacky animated sitcom are more than thrilled to wait.

In one of his interviews, "Rick and Morty" co-creator Dan Harmon hinted that they are currently in the process of making of "Rick and Morty" season 4. However, apart from that, no official confirmation has been announced. He also said that he wants to prove himself in season 4 and show people that he has grown from creating previous seasons.

So, when will "Rick and Morty" season 4 be released? NME reported updates and spoilers on their blog and according to them, the release date would be in a "really really long time." It can also be recalled how Mr. Poopybutthole said that by the time the next season arrives, he may be already old, like Grandpa-old.

The production behind the well-loved series is also known to tease its fans about the release of the possible next season, even reiterating that it will not be seen for a really really long time, and this just makes the Rick-Morty craze arise even more.

There are also no plots nor trailers released by Adult Swim yet for the upcoming season, but as shared by Independent, given the huge success of the show, it is very much likely that "Rick and Morty" will be airing again.
