In one of his interviews, "Rick and Morty" co-creator Dan Harmon hinted that they are currently in the process of making of "Rick and Morty" season 4. However, apart from that, no official confirmation has been announced. He also said that he wants to prove himself in season 4 and show people that he has grown from creating previous seasons.

It can also be recalled how Mr. Poopybutthole said that by the time the next season arrives, he may be already old, like Grandpa-old.
