Teresa Giuidice prison update: 'RHONJ' star having a hard time

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice is reportedly not at all doing well behind bars. Although her daughter Gia claims that her mother is alright, adding that visiting her is fun, an insider of In Touch Weekly revealed that Giudice, who was incarcerated after fraud conviction, is having a tough time.

"Teresa was in tears when she came out of the visiting room after a recent visit. She was crying out in the open. Some of the inmates gathered around her and told her everything was going to be OK until she finally pulled herself together," the source told In Touch Weekly.

Two months in, the reality star is rumored to have made enemies instead of friends. Apparently, 42-year-old is now the subject of her fellow inmates' abhorrence because of her attitude. It has allegedly become so serious that Giudice is starting to fear about her safety inside the prison.

"She thinks she's better than everyone else. She acts like the other women are beneath her, and she's making enemies because of it," an insider dished out via the aforementioned publication. "Once you start complaining about certain prisoners, you become a target. It would be wise of her to stop acting like she's above everything."

The insider also revealed that the "RHONJ" star keeps a diary where she writes about her daily encounters in prison. She allegedly keeps the journal locked away and secured as it would be a disaster should someone manage to read and share its contents.

Giudice's goal for writing the diary that has "all the dirt and secrets, stuff no-one knows about," is reportedly to score a "seven-figure" book deal that will help her pay her debts. She also plans to return to television after she finishes her sentence.
