Gamers are loving the latest DLC released for "Project Cars" and it is believed that it may be the best add-on ever released for the racing title. A whole host of classic team Lotus vehicles as well as three race tracks that go with the respective roadsters were recently made available.

There are five Lotus vehicles added, though the first one, the ever-glorious 1970 Lotus Type 49C Cosworth, comes on the house as part of Slightly Mad and Bandai Namco making good to their promise to release free content for players of the title.

Thanks to the Lotus DLC pack, "Project CARS" players can now drive the classic 1965 Lotus Type 40 Ford that legendary racers Richie Ginther and Jim Clark drove to victory. The car also had racing legend AJ Foyt behind its wheels.

Virtual racers will also get to drive a 1963 Lotus Type 25 Climax, which is a car of many firsts. It is the pioneering car to sport the monocoque chassis racers know and love up to this day. It was also with this vehicle that Clark won his first Grand Prix championship.

The fourth vehicle coming to "Project CARS" via the Lotus DLC is the 1967 Lotus Type 51, which serves as one of the most successful cars of the Norwich-headquartered manufacturer for its durability and smooth technical showing.

The final car on the list is the 1966 Lotus Type 38 Ford, which is the testimony of how mid-engine cars work as great as, if not better than, roadsters with front engines. Clark raced through the Victory Lane at the 1965 Indianapolis 500 with this car and it certainly did not fail the racer.

As for the new racing locations, "Project CARS" are adding three popular and legendary motor racing venues in the game – the memorable Rouen les Essarts, the well-loved Hockenheim Classic and Silverstone Classic complete with its original airfield-track quality.

The Lotus DLC is priced £6.19 or $ 6.56.
