Prince Harry wedding news: Younger prince has not asked Prince William to be his best man

Prince Harry has yet to approach his older brother, Prince William, to invite him to be his best man for his upcoming wedding with American actress Meghan Markle. This news was clarified when Prince William was interviewed by United Kingdom radio talk show host Roman Kemp. Despite the news, Prince William did not seem to be bothered by the fact that his little brother has not asked him yet, even if the wedding is just months away.

The discussion between Kemp and Prince William was mainly for a mental health charity initiative for preventing the increase of men's suicide called Campaign Against Living Miserably, or CALM for short. The topic at hand was rather serious, and the inquiry regarding Prince Harry's wedding provided a good and positive break from the weighted subject of male suicide.

When Prince William was asked about being Prince Harry's best man, he humorously stated that "It could be a touchy subject," but then reaffirmed the radio talk show host that they have a close and special bond due to the untimely death of their mother, Princess Diana, back in 1997. The tragedy allowed the two to become closer, and work out their emotions together in order to successfully rise from such a dark time in their lives.

At the time of their mother's death, the two princes were 15 and 12 years of age.

In a tweet by the official page of the Kensington Palace, it was revealed that the Duke of Cambridge is busy with showing his support to those who are part of the CALM initiative by gracing them with his presence. The tweet ends with the hashtag #BestManProject. Prince William is a staunch advocate of preventing male suicide, and firmly believes that men should feel okay to tell other men about their emotions.

It is notable to mention that Prince Harry was Prince William's best man back when he married Kate Middleton.
