Presidential polls 2016: Ben Carson quietly rises, Bernie Sanders closing in on Hillary Clinton

The latest presidential poll is out and it appears to be in favor of Hillary Clinton. The leading presidential candidate from the Democratic side leads the latest Suffolk poll, placing ahead of Bernie Sanders by 34 points, 19 points in CNN poll and by 27 points from the latest Public Policy Polling, as reported in MSNBC.

But Clinton's success will experience an eclipse based on the results from the weekend poll.

In the latest Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Politics Iowa poll, it appears that real estate mogul Donald Trump found major support in the area. The poll also revealed that Ben Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, is slowly and quietly making a rise in the poll with 18 percent.

While Trump is dominating the GOP, Carson seems to be creeping up quietly and appears to be a serious candidate for the presidential race.

In the Iowa poll for Republicans, it found that Trump garnered 23 percent of the support and then Carson follows with the 18 percent. According to reports, no other candidate has gained double digits.

Carson seems to also have the highest favorability ratings among all the Republican contenders. Seventy nine percent see him as a positive candidate, while only eight percent feel negatively about him.

Carson's rise has been gaining attention since he's one of the few Republican candidates who hasn't exchanged heated words with the front-running billionaire.

In fact, Trump has already battled it out with other rival Republican contenders, but what he has for Carson are all praises.

Trump, according to CNN, said last week that he considers Carson a "fine man" and a friend of his, who's doing great in the polls.

Carson, on the other hand, hasn't said anything negatively about Trump as well and even revealed in a CNN interview that he is not trying to beat Trump.

Carson said that he's doing what he can to connect with all American citizens and it appears that they have reacted positively.
