New promotional posters are now up for the upcoming Pokémon anime film currently addressed as "Pokémon the Movie XY 2015." In the fresh posters put up in the official Pokémon movie website, Pikachu, Meowth and Dedenne share the limelight.

Meanwhile, Game Zone details the teaser for the movie shared prior to the new posters via the official Pokémon YouTube channel. In the trailer, Primal Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza (all introduced in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire) are in a land where lava and ocean overflow and they are eventually swallowed by a hole. Sadly, that's as far as Pokémon has gone in teasing its fans.

However, something interesting has been unearthed about the seemingly not-so detailed teaser. Hackers who went in-depth in "Pokémon X and Y" managed to bring to light the existence of legendaries never introduced by The Pokémon Company. One of these is Hoopa, who sports rings identical to those around Hoenn that transport players into alternate dimensions to battle with a legendary Pokémon. With these rings spotted in the trailer, fans may get to see the unfamiliar face in the movie.

On the other hand, Anime News Network reports that a short film will tag along the showing of the movie and it will serve as its opening. However, the title is still unannounced. Nevertheless, fans are sure to see director Kunihiko Yuyama at work to effectively transform Satoshi Tajiri's set of Pokémon games into hit films that will treat fans and players of the titles.

The 18th movie of the "Pokémon" franchise is scheduled to hit theaters in Japan on July 18 next year. As for those who live outside the anime capital, debut dates of the film are still undisclosed, assuming that it will be release beyond the country.
