Sony has already arranged its PS Plus game selections for January and PS4, PS3 and PS Vita players will get all the stellar goodies.
Getting the biggest hype among the tech firm's offerings for its current-gen console is the standalone DLC "First Light." There is a playable Fetch and, at the same time, it opens out everything leading up to its reprisal. IB Times reported that Seattle's history will also be shown.
The second title coming to PS4 gamers is the "The Swapper." Conveniently, this science fiction-themed puzzle game will also be given away to players of all Sony platforms. Gamers can beckon clones that can assist them in overcoming the challenges.
PS3 will get "Prototype 2" and "DuckTales: Remastered." The former turns gamers into slayers who will hound for Sgt. James Heller's archenemy Alex Mercer, and bring him down. The latter is a revamped version of the platform video game developed by WayForward Technologies.
PS Vita owners will snag for themselves "Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition," which will also grace PS3 consoles. Sony is offering the popular first-person shooter and three expansion packs in one "definitive" package. Gamers in Germany would not see this come to light due to its classification board banning it. They wouldn't leave empty-handed, of course, with "Gravity Crash Ultra" as a relative alternate.
Another title to look forward to is the retro arcade game "Whoa Dave!" Eurogamer noted that a version for the PS4 is in the pipeline, which can come as a complimentary pack for gamers who will get the Vita version.
To compensate for the damage brought about by the Christmas day PSN hacking, Sony is granting a 5-day membership extension to subscribers of the PS Plus. A one-time discount of 10 percent in the PlayStation Store will also be put forward. Players can also sync Remote Play with Xperia devices such as the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. The Verge reported that "GTA V" and "Alien: Isolation" are already playable on select smartphones and tablets.
