With the looming threat of severe competition, the widely popular multiplayer online battle arena video game "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" has been gearing up to stay ahead of the rest. Recently, the game's developers at Bluhole Studio will be adding a three-dimensional (3D) kill camera (killcam) feature so that players will be able to relive their satisfying kills, and reversely, players will find out exactly how they have been dispatched from the game.

According to reports, the 3D kill camera feature was the most requested feature by fans of the battle-royale-style video game for the upcoming full release of the game -- so this means that many fans will be pleased to know of its pending addition to the game. Bluhole Studio teamed up with a Korean-based gaming tech company called Minkonet, and this partnership between the two groups made the 3D kill camera possible.

Not only does the 3D killcam allow players to review their kills or deaths but it would also be much easier to identify cheaters in the game -- a very serious issue that currently plagues the game, resulting in many potential concurrent players to be turned off by "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds." According to Game Rant, the additional feature through the upcoming update may be considered by majority of the concurrent players as an integral and necessary add-on.

One of the perks of having the 3D killcam is that it can, in a way, immortalize exciting moments that occur in the realm of "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds," thereby solidifying the experience as well as potentially enticing more players to get their hands on their own copies of the game. Video Gamer has reported that the 3D kill cam will be presented and executed in a very clear way, which could even prove to be an invaluable feature for e-Sports.

The 3D killcam will be included in the patch version 1.0, which will be released on Dec. 20, 2017.
