'Orange Is The New Black' season 3 spoilers: Expect more of Alex in new episodes

During the sophomore season of "Orange Is The New Black," many felt like Alex's presence was not enough and, indeed, it wasn't. Laura Prepon, the actress who wears the jumpsuit to play the character, has been a very busy girl during the shooting of season 2. But rest assured that come season 3, there will be more of the Litchfield inmate as Prepon's schedule will not get in the way anymore.

"It sucked because [show creator] Jenji Kohan and I wanted me to be in it more, but with the schedule, it didn't happen," Prepon told US Weekly when asked about her little-to-no-turnout in "Orange Is The New Black" season 2.

"I was so bummed out," she added. "But I handled it, so I'm in every [episode] in season three. It is so good."

So those who watch the show for Alex will be happy to know that she will be seen in each and every installment in the third run of the comedy-drama series. But what will be the major story to tell about the jailbird? It involves her former lover Piper.

In season 3, Alex will learn that Piper is the reason she is behind bars once more.

"Alex sees through her bulls," Prepon told TV Guide about the revelation. "When Alex does find out, she's going to know why [Piper] did it and it will be really interesting."

Their relationship will be made complicated in the series with a hot new inmate walking the hallways of the penitentiary. Stella Carlin, who will be played by Australian DJ and model Ruby Rose, will have the two entangled into a complicated love triangle. Her killer looks and charisma will have the former couple fighting for her attention.

How will all that turn out? There is only one way to find out and that is to wait for "Orange Is The New Black" season 3 to premiere on June 12.
