The Oppo Find 9 smartphone is said to feature Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 processor. The latest rumors suggest that the device will not be launched in March next year, but rather, during the first half of 2017.

The alleged device is also said to carry 6 GB of RAM and will offer a 5.5-inch QHD touchscreen display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, and it will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It is also speculated to come with VOOC rapid charging technology for its 2,500 mAh battery. Another rumor also suggests that the battery is around 4,000 mAh.

It is also expected to carry a 21 MP autofocus main camera, equipped with an LED flash, while the front will contain 16 MP camera. A fingerprint security sensor will definitely be included, as it is a must have for flagship models.

The Oppo Find 9 was previously rumored to arrive in March 2017, but it seems it will likely not happen now. A Qualcomm Chinese arm employee has confirmed this, stating that the fist quarter release date is nothing but a rumor. This was according to a post on Weibo, the Chinese microblogging website, according to a report from Phone Arena.

Earlier, Pan Jiutang, a Chinese analyst who had made interesting predictions before, revealed that the highly anticipated device could even be launched sometime next summer. The VOOC information came from him, stating that Oppo claims to charge a phone in just 15 minutes.

According to GSM Arena, the smartphone was supposed to come out last June, and it is said to be sporting a Snapdragon 820, then it became Snapdragon 821. Now it should have the latest offering from Qualcomm, which have partnered with Samsung to produce a 10 nm-based chip.

It has been three years since the Oppo released the last device of the series, the Find 7, which was a very solid phone. It packs a Snapdragon 801 that clocks at 2.5 GHz speed, 3 GB of RAM, and a 3,000 mAh battery that can be charge really fast with the right gear. It also comes with a 5.5-inch QHD display, 13 MP rear-facing and 5 MP front-facing cameras.

More details are expected to arrive soon for the Oppo Find 9 smartphone.
