OnePlus hasn't slowed down in building hype around its flagship, the OnePlus 2, which will be revealed in a virtual reality event in July 27. The most recent campaign is in the form of a promo video, which starred a "OnePlus fan" gushing over the smartphone.
In the video [check it out below], the fan who claimed to have seen and used OnePlus 2, described the flagship was "awesome" at least four times, enumerating the features that he loved about it but only getting bleeped every time he does.
He did, however, manage to say sans the bleep that the device is "way more comfortable" to grip, which he said was because OnePlus added something but kept another. Techno Buffalo says this could mean the OnePlus 2 may be a little curvier than its predecessor.
Hinting more on the device's appearance, OnePlus posted on Reddit a photo of an unseen OnePlus 2 underneath the OnePlus One, hinting that the latter, which has a 5.5-inch display, will be bigger than the former. Although it won't be any bigger, its battery unit is more powerful at 3300mAh. One had 3100.
According to GSM Arena, the OnePlus 2 will have three models, which may end up being called A2001, A2003 and A2005. The first one is solely for China while the second one will likely be for North America. The third one is dropping in Europe and Asia.
OnePlus 2 will be unveiled in a special virtual reality event. The tech firm will be releasing an Android app, where fans can tune in and wait for the announcement with or without VR. After the official unveiling, OnePlus will also release a video of it on YouTube so everyone can check it out.
As per reports, the OnePlus 2 will be boasting a dual-lens camera. Mobipicker claims via a leak that the flagship will be at 5.5-inches, the cameras at 16 and 5 megapixels and the storage space at 64GB.
