Bungie, the developer behind the massively popular next-age shooter "Destiny," has released the official preview video of its next DLC, "House of Wolves."

In terms of the plot, the expansion opens up a whole new story and content for Guardians in the game. According to Bungie, the "House of Wolves" starts with a betrayal, with the Wolves clan trying to rise up against the Queen and attacking her Royal Guards. In order to subdue the threat, the Queen allows the opening of the Rift to let Guardians pass through and hunt the enemies.

The DLC will introduce players to new areas, with a whole new content to be made available. Weapons, armors, and a number of new non-playable characters are some of the features included in the expansion pack.

Also, the video highlights continuity in the game, with emphasis on players having their characters develop and ascend even more beyond the current "The Dark Below" and upcoming "House of Wolves" expansion packs. In order for players to continually develop, Bungie made the expansion pack friendly to previous items and equipment. Although players can easily acquire new weapons and armor and make an entirely new set of gear in the new expansion, they can still use their old gear and, additionally, increase their levels outside of the old level caps using new items like Etheric Light.

There will also be new modes for both campaign and PvP gameplay. For example, after the story for the expansion is finished, the new Prison of Elders will open and can be explored by players.

"Destiny Expansion II: House of Wolves" will be released on May 19 for players on current-gen consoles Xbox One and Playstation 4, older-gen consoles Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, and PC.
