It's now halfway through the month of September, and understandably, PlayStation Plus members are now looking forward to the next set of free games that will be offered to them next month. Like always, there is still a lot of hope for a triple-A title to make it to the list this time around.

A lot of paying members on Sony's free games program have not been satisfied with the service lately as most of the games that have been given away for the past few months were comprised of mostly remade classics and indie games.

However, the upcoming months is believed to be different as the company has recently released their new set of consoles, namely the PlayStation 4 Slim and the PlayStation 4 Pro. It would make perfect business sense for Sony to offer some quality games in their program next month in order to attract new members as well as to further promote their new consoles.

As for the predicted games that will be offered in October, a couple of interesting titles may be in store for members. Topping the list of the games most likely to be added next month is the one-year-old action role-playing game, "Nights of the Azure." The game itself was released in Japan last year, but has only been made available in North American and European territories back in April.

Predictions for next month's free games are of course incomplete without a likely candidate for a triple-A title. Several reports have narrowed down their predictions to Guerilla Games' science fiction first-person shooter, "Killzone: Shadow Fall." Releasing a good quality triple-A title would really justify Sony's recent subscription price hike and a big title from the "Killzone" franchise may just do the trick.

Other games that could be part of the October PlayStation Plus free games list includes the platform game "Knack," Focus Home Interactive's RPG "Bound by Flame," and the remastered classic " Oddworld Munch's Oddysee HD."
