No OnePlus Two release date latest news: Coming at OnePlus event June 2015

OnePlus is scheduled to hold a launch event with a tagline of Time to Change on Monday, June 1, 2015 and before folks go on and presume that the OnePlus Two could be finally revealed, sad to say it won't be happening.

This was clarified by no other than founder Carl Pei who explained that the OnePlus Two should not be expected for launch during the event. Again he emphasized that while the OnePlus Two is already long overdue, its coming will be somewhere between September and October of this year.

So now the question in the air is what will OnePlus be launching on Monday? The answer to that remains a mystery.

After dousing water to OnePlus Two launch rumors, Pei did further explain that they want to make sure that the successor to the OnePlus One is being designed carefully to live up to the hype of being another flagship killer.

It would have helped though if Pei revealed at least some of the features to expect from the OnePlus Two aside from the fact that it will be a similar budget-friendly phone similar to the OnePlus One.

With the technical specs still under wraps, the only thing sure is that the OnePlus Two will run on OxygenOS out of the box. For the Asian market however, the OnePlus Two will come out with HydrogenOS.

As with the OnePlus One, expect no advertising to be made on the OnePlus Two. Pei reasons out that the approach is to drive the savings back to the consumers which in all apparently accounts for the affordable price despite the high-end specs.

That is practically it for now as far as the OnePlus Two and the excitement could have been taken up a notch if Pei would at least have some information to spill during the Monday launch.

Regardless, it shoudn't be surprising if the topic is brought up again and hopefully Pei or any rep could reveal some sort of information on hardware for the OnePlus Two.
