World Cup 2014 preview [ESPN]: How to watch Japan vs Colombia football online

Colombia will play Japan on Tuesday in World Cup 2014 Group C. Colombia have already guaranteed themselves a spot in the Last 16, but Japan still have it all to do and must win here today to give them any hope at all at progressing to the knock out rounds of this year's tournament.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on the ESPN network or online through live stream – free for subscribers – via the link provided below.

These two teams have played just twice before, with Colombia getting the better of those games. Colombia have won one and drawn one of those games in the 2003 Confederations Cup, and a 2007 friendly respectively.

Japan have to make history tonight if they are to have any chance at progressing. They have never defeated a South American team at a World Cup Finals, but will have to do so tonight or they are guaranteed to be on the next flight home.

Previously Japan have lost 1-0 to Argentina in 1998, 4-1 to Brazil in 2006 and drew 0-0 with Paraguay in 2010.

Meanwhile, Colombia are writing a new history of their own. This is the first World Cup they have ever won more than one match at, and they have already equaled their record for goals scored in a single World Cup tournament with five goals so far in their opening two games.

They are also undefeated in their last nine games – winning five and drawing four.

Japan vs Colombia will kick off at 4 p.m. EST and can be watched online by clicking here.
