'NCIS' season 14 episode 7 spoilers: Tony DiNozzo Sr.tries to get NCIS family to take his apartment

A promo still from "NCIS" season 14 episode 7 "Home of the Brave" CBS

It looks like fans will finally get an update on Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) in the next episode of "NCIS" season 14, "Home of the Brave," after leaving his job last season to take care of his daughter.

Tony DiNozzo Sr. (Robert Wagner) is clearly ready to move on from his son's leave-taking and returns this week to give the team a chance to rent the younger DiNozzo's old apartment.

In a promotional still from "NCIS" season 14 episode 7, DiNozzo was all smiles as he spoke to Abby (Pauley Perrette), McGee (Sean Murray) and Bishop (Emily Wickersham), who also appeared ecstatic to see him.

The last time fans saw Wagner's character was in season 13, where he tried to comfort Tony as he mourned the death of Ziva (Cote de Pablo) and helped him with his daughter Talia right before the special agent left for good.

CBS teases that DiNozzo "offers up Tony's apartment to the NCIS family" in "NCIS" season 14 episode 7, and it looks like Abby, McGee, and Bishop will all be interested in subletting the place.

This should make for the light-hearted moments of "NCIS" season 14, episode 7 as the three will try to win the senior DiNozzo over to get the coveted apartment. It looks like the trio will try funny ways in securing the place.

It is expected that this episode will also at least give fans an update on what Weatherly's character has been up to ever since he decided to live a safe life for his daughter by the end of the previous season.

Weatherly reprising his role in "NCIS" season 14 is a long shot at the moment, but episode 7 will likely involve him in some way such as his father keeping the team up to speed on how he was doing.

As all this goes on in "NCIS" season 14 episode 7, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will lead an investigation on a witness wanted by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) breaks protocol as he feels that this witness is being mistreated.

"NCIS" season 14 episode 7, "Home of the Brave," will air on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. It was originally set to air last week but was postponed due to the World Series.
