A new episode of "NCIS" season 13 is one with the Halloween season. The promo for the upcoming installment, which is titled "Viral," shows that the agents in the office bask in the season of horror, teasing that "the fun is contagious."

The clip shows Agent DiNozzo, who seems to be the one who is embodying the time of year when most do all sorts of things off the wall. "I'm itchy. I'm irritated and I have a gun," the police officer warns in the promo as scenes of him acting all wacky and weird were shown.

The "NCIS" season 13 video quickly changes tone when the voiceover says, "But the terror is real." At this point, fans see Bishop start to worry about Jake's safety after learning that a building he was in was bombed.

Gibbs convinces her to stay home but insists that she won't "wait around for a 'we regret to inform you' call." The next second she is seen tearing up, giving the impression that she may after all receive that bad news.

Meanwhile, the upcoming "NCIS" season 13 episode also sees the team deal with a series of murders, which may or may not be the work of a serial killer. This is after a petty officer was murdered in a way that matches the MO of a local serial murderer.

However, the team also looks at the possibility of a copycat, who may just be trying to get out of the clutch of the police by framing the crime on another but still satiating his or her craving to kill.

Outside of work, fans will see Delilah and McGee figure things out as they take the relationship to the next level, which entails moving in together. The couple will need to learn how to compromise for their next move to work.

"NCIS" season 13 episode 6 "Viral" airs Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
