'NCIS' season 12 spoilers: Gibbs, Bishop on a mission in Afghanistan in episode 21 'Lost in Translation'

The next episode of "NCIS" season 12 will bring Gibbs and Bishop all the way to Afghanistan. The new installment titled "Lost in Translation" delves into the death of a Marine in D.C. As the NCIS tracks down the person responsible for the crime, the unit realizes that they have to go out of the country to apprehend him.

Unfortunately, Gibbs and Bishop are not up against one man alone but against a terrorist group in the said country. To add to the trouble and danger, the duo realizes that the group has attacked once again by taking another Marine hostage. Will the pair be there in time to prevent another casualty, especially with Bishop's trepidation about the situation at hand?

While Gibbs and Bishop take care of the action and drama in the upcoming "NCIS" episode, DiNozzo brings the blithe aspect of the installment. In the previous episode, the Special Agent was seen patching up his relationship with Zoe as he struggles to adjust to the fact that his dad actually cares for him.

But for now, he has to deal with a little jealousy at work. DiNozzo almost immediately becomes disconcerted — and probably offended — knowing that the chosen new face of NCIS is McGee. Whether he thinks that the brat is not fitting to represent the respected unit or simply believes that he is more appropriate for the role, the idea of McGee's face plastered on every NCIS recruitment brochure to be released in public makes him all "upset."

Indeed, DiNozzo has been through a lot of things. There is one that is so serious involving his marriage. Another threatens his relationship with his father, who longs to be with him and stay with him in D.C. Then there's this McGee-on-NCIS-brochure issue.

Fans can watch how it all goes down in episode 21 of "NCIS" season 12. "Lost in Translation" will air on April 15.
