NBA trade rumors 2018

Feb. 8 is fast approaching, and should be an important date for avid National Basketball Association (NBA) fans, being that it is the last day that teams can trade picks and players. As of now, the league is abundant with news and rumors of teams being interested in trading some of their current players for other from opposing teams that can potentially make or break their chances of getting closer to the NBA finals after the regular season is over.

Arguably, much of the trade buzz is circulating around DeAndre Jordan, who is currently playing at the center position for the Los Angeles Clippers. As of now, there are no specific teams that have been reported to make a move to acquire Jordan, but a lot of attention is still on him due to the fact that the league is interested in how he will decide given the options that he currently has.

It is possible that Jordan is just waiting for the Clipperrs to give him a good offer after the season is over, but then again, there is still the question if Jordan will personally want to pursue a good chance at the title. If it is the latter, basketball fans can expect that a big trade could occur on or before February.

On the other hand, the Philadelphia Seventy Sixers are rumored to be eyeing Tyreke Evans, a small forward who is currently playing for the Memphis Grizzlies. The Seventy Sixers are a team that is considered to be in the rebuilding stage, and they have a lot of promising young talent -- especially with Australian Ben Simmons on their roster.

However, it seems that Philadelphia are dangerously close to exceeding their salary cap, which means that they would have to negotiate thoroughly with Evans before he may even consider making the transition to the Eastern Conference.
