'NBA 2K15' locker codes and cheats: VC points, random items

The gamer followers of basketball just can't unlove "NBA 2K15" as it gives them the means to keep close to their basketball heroes as well let out their own personal renderings, skills and tricks. There are tons of ways to make the most of the game, one of which is exploiting cheats and locker codes that come straight from 2K Sports. Along with the new update that killed off the bugs in the game, some good old locker codes expectedly tagged along.

The game is mostly about the VC (Virtual Currency) points as there are so much more to get from the game with them always at top figure. To get 500 VC points, key in the code PARKSWAG. Use code KEEPTHECHANGE to hitch 750. A whopping 1,000 VC is obtainable with IWATCHEDNBA2KTV. Double that easy pay packet by typing in BETTERTHANAGIFTCARD.

"NBA 2K15" seems to love spawning random items so 2K Sports took care of that for them. There are various codes to use to get one — SWEETPOTATO, HEYGUYS, MYSTERY, NewYearNewGear and #2KTVMELOGEAR (to get a random bonus). But players who specifically want to play with the ABA Ball can apply the PAYRESPECT code to spawn it.

The game also updated its roster to match the changes that have happened in the real-life NBA. The game has been recently modified to mirror the rotation and even the injuries in the actual league.

Meanwhile, an interesting find has been spotted in the game. According to GameSpot, "NBA 2K15" does not just offer pristine basketball experience but also spoilers, those that give away HBO original series "Game of Thrones" to be exact. These were found in the game's MyGM mode. Later on, it was discovered that the details were deliberately implanted not just for pure entertainment but for the game to become more "culturally relevant." "Game of Thrones," which is adapted from the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series written by George R.R. Martin, has generated a massive following.

"We have cleverly intertwined assorted pop culture references in the experience to bring a smile or even a laugh to our users. When you are reading line after line of text, you need to break it up with some light-hearted humor," a 2K Sports representative told GameSpot. "There are actually very few lines in the script that can be considered spoilers. Specifically on the Game of Thrones mention(s), we take care to ensure that only references from the aired shows on HBO are mentioned. We do not include references from the books that are yet to be brought to the small screen. Essentially, everything we talk about is widely available for consumer consumption."
