NBA 2015 rumors: Celtics looking to shop Jeff Green, Brandon Bass

Don't be surprised if you see some more moves from the Boston Celtics in the coming weeks. After dealing Rajon Rondo to the Dallas Mavericks, Brandon Bass and Jeff Green could be leaving Massachusetts soon too.

With a woeful season that continues to go sour, the Celtics look to free up some cap space to have more options in the future. Green has been phenomenal but as far as the Celtics long-term plan is concerned, Green may be better off playing for a contender.

But just like Rondo, the Celtics are not expected to let Green go that easily. Danny Ainge and company are bound to be looking at what other teams interested in Green and or Bass have to offer so like Rondo, this may take some time.

But with Green's talent, a lot of teams are bound to be busy as we speak. We all know how studded the Western Conference has suddenly become so don't be surprised if you see many of them actively pursuing Green or Bass.

And that includes the Houston Rockets who seem to be finding ways landing blue chip NBA talent. Remember how they were able to land Cory Brewer and Josh Smith?

Then there are other teams who are looking to beef up like the Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks or even the Portland Trailblazers.

But the Eastern Conference could have some teams interested in picking up either or both players too. The Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers could become potential suitors in the race for these players so expect a frantic race as the NBA trade deadline draws near.

While Bass and Green seem to be the top names that the Celtics are looking to trade, don't forget about Jared Sullinger or even Kelly Olynk. The Celtics are cleaning house and like it or not, some (if not all) players are going to be playing elsewhere soon.
