Game studio CyberConnect2 is keen on concluding the celebrated "Ultimate Ninja" game series on a high note, as clearly displayed in the gameplay trailer for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," which boasts the most robust roster of playable characters.

This is the first time the game studio showcased what the traditional battles between the characters — whose alternate forms are also playable in the game — look like in the installment. Forbes took note of the prowess in the art direction and cel-shading technology presented in the fast-paced footage.

CyberConnect2 pushed the game beyond its parameters. It is set in 1080p and it was made to cash in on the power of new-generation consoles. There is still no word if it will ever make it to the last-gen platforms.

As the release date for the much-awaited fighter draws nearer by the minute, more characters from its mighty and massive character ensemble are being unmasked. The latest reveal, according to Shonen V-Jump Magazine, is Leaf's Noble Gentleman's very own taijitsu master Might Guy.

For his Awakening, the new character opens the Eight Gates of a Shinobi's Chakra Pathway System and turns into Night Guy for his Ultimate Jutsu form. He was introduced after Six Paths (Rikudo) Madara joined the title.

The game features anime-rendered battles that look visually appealing and a new change leader system that allows players to switch the combatant at the forefront during battle. Players can use a Jutsu or create their own with whoever they need to snag victory.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will be released and distributed for the PS4, Xbox One and PC by Bandai Namco in September.
