"Naruto Shippuden" continues to share the childhood stories of the beloved characters of the Shinobi World in episode 481, which will focus on Sasuke and Sakura.

After covering all 700 chapters of the manga, the anime has shifted to the "Boyhood Arc," which tells the tales that molded the characters into the kind of people they have become.

The first part of "Naruto Shippuden" episode 481 will focus on Sasuke. The promo teases that it will be specifically during the part where he and his older brother, Itachi, were left alone in the house after their parents went out for a while.

"You must surpass me," Itachi tells Sasuke in the "Naruto Shippuden" episode 481 promo.

"You're a lot like me. You have potential," he added, assuring young Sasuke. "Then I will surpass you!" the younger Uchiha then declared.

"Naruto Shippuden" episode 481 should give fans a good look at the relationship between the Uchiha brothers, who went two very different paths as they grew older.

The second part of "Naruto Shippuden" episode 481 will focus on Sakura. The promo showed her adorable interaction with her family.

It looks like trio was preparing their meal when her father said that Sakura's bangs might get in the way and that she should cut them. She was not too thrilled about the comment but did not say anything.

Instead, Sakura's mother said in the "Naruto Shippuden" episode 481 promo that his comments might make their daughter hate him. The Haruno patriarch then laughed it off.

As fans know, Sakura only resorted to the hairstyle as she was being bullied in school about her huge forehead. She will cut it off soon when her friend and rival, Ino, tells her to be confident for who she is.

"Naruto Shippuden" episode 481, "Sasuke–Sakura," will air on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m. JST on TV Tokyo.
