Motorola has brought the new Moto Turbo to India just recently. According to rumors, the company may also be planning to release the 2015 model of the Moto X. If it is indeed coming, which handset will be best to purchase? There is not much info about the purported Moto X 2015, but judging from the high-grade specs of its would-be predecessor, it will be great to see it alongside the freshly unveiled Moto Turbo.

It might be bigger or smaller but Motorola could do plenty of upgrades to the Moto X. The 2015 model's forerunner came in a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1080p pixel resolution and a 424 ppi pixel density. Motorola is likely to amp it up for the Moto X 2015. Thus, the Moto Turbo, which was also brought in with the same size and display but with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, will not look as good with the Moto X 2015 around (at least in this department).

Under the hood, the Moto Turbo has a 2.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, which is paired with a stocky 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage capacity. The Moto X 2014 offers 16-, 32-, and 64-GB variants. These models all have 2 GB of RAM. But imagining a boost for the Moto X 2015, the Moto Turbo will experience a run for its money.

The camera department is where major bodyslamming can take place. If the Moto X 2015 will go for more than a 13-megapixel rear-facing shooter and a 2-megapixel selfie camera, then the Moto Turbo is ready to tackle it with its 21-megapixel primary snapper and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. Battery-wise, the Moto Turbo's 3900 mAh battery may prove superior even if the Moto X 2015 ups its 2014 version's 2300 mAh unit.

The Moto Turbo is waterproof and its exterior is of Ballistic Nylon, which makes it sturdy. The company may want to take note of that for the Moto X 2015. In terms of the price, the Moto X 2014 costs round $421, therefore the Moto X 2015 is expected to ask more than that. The Moto Turbo, on the other hand, is priced at around $669.
