Is the Motorola Moto G coming out soon?

A leak of a reported listing of the said device caused quite a stir recently, sparking suggestions that the Motorola G 3rd Generation could be available soon. The listing was spotted at Flipkart for model number AP3560AD1K8 in a white color variant.

The Moto G has quite a history, a handset that practically catapulted Motorola to be among the top five best-selling handsets over in India. The Moto G was a big hit in India that it went as far as moving past, Nokia in terms of popularity for a time.

There is no official word yet on when the Moto G 3rd Gen would actually come out though rumors suggest that the said device could be launched either in June or July.

Aside from the model number and the handset color, the only other detail about the said device was that it would have an 8GB internal memory. The page has since been taken down although the Google Cache version can still be accessed. You can check it out here.

With regards to other details, the best thing to do right now is to rely on the rumored specs. That includes a 5 to 5.2-inch display, 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 SoC supported by 2GB of RAM, and 4G LTE capability.

Providing further belief of the coming of the Moto G 2nd Gen are the price cuts made on current Motorola variants, the Moto G 2nd Gen and Moto X 2nd Gen.

The Moto G 2nd Gen just got a price cut of Rs 2,000 while the Moto X 2nd Gen had a Rs 3,000.

The listing at Flipkart is believed to be something that had been accidentally and erroneously put up but still, it seems that its coming will happen pretty soon which should be a good thing for folks over in India.
