Moto G 2015 release date: Coming out in July?

Is the Moto G 2015 on its way?

All that of course will depend on how you understand Lenovo CEO Yang Yanqing when he said that Motorola fans can look forward to some "exciting products" later this year.

With the Moto G 2015 one of the more anticipated devices from the company, the immediate notion is to of course expect the device to be among the mentioned products to be revealed in July.

Ever since Lenovo and Motorola hooked up, the partnership seems to have blossomed and benefitted both brands. To cut it short, it will be a two-branded approach which can translate to better coverage and possibly increase their share in the market segment they are in.

What makes the Moto G 2015 an interesting device to look forward to?

A report from the Day Herald reveals that the Moto G 2015 will most likely come out powered by a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 SoC processor and carry 4G LTE features. It will tote a 5 or 5.2-inch display (similar to the Moto G 2014) and could be available in two variants, 8GB and 16GB.

Other features the Moto G could carry include 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD and a bigger 2390 mAh battery. It will also have a rear 8MP camera and 2MP front shooter. The Moto G 2015 will most likely come with Android 5.0 or 5.1 Lollipop on board.

With those features in mind, the Moto G 2015 should be a sufficient phone for those who want to keep it plan and simple.

The Moto G 2015 actually was surprisingly listed on Flipkart last May (model no. AP3560AD1K8) but was later on taken down. The article to that story can be found here.
