"Mortal Kombat X" has welcomed Ermac in the litany of characters gracing the latest installment of the legendary fighting game franchise. Days after the announcement of his arrival, NetherRealms released a footage that shows how the red-clad telekinetic ninja cold-bloodedly pounced on Scorpion. The warrior's mind power is a horror show, allowing the fighter to break bones without moving a muscle.

Ermac was a mere fan speculation back in 1992. But thanks to a glitch, the character found its way to the bloodhound arena.

In the gameplay footage, Ermac destroys the vindictive resurrected ninja with his deadly moves. Characters in "Mortal Kombat X" have three fighting styles and so does the vicious tenderfoot. However, NetherRealms has yet to introduce what terrors the combatant can bring.

Ermac adds to the roster that is slowly being uncovered. Over the course of the production of "Mortal Kombat X," NetherRealms has introduced classic and unfamiliar characters alike. Prior to Ermac, Kitana and Kung Lao joined the pack. Players can also fight as or beat up Sub-Zero, Quan Chi and Reptile. Kano and Raiden were also thrown into the mix. "Mortal Kombat X" will also be the stage D'Vorah, Ferra & Torr, Kotal Kahn and Cassie Cage will debut their fighting skills.

Other than the thrill of watching Ermac slaughter Scorpion, Warner Bros. and NetherRealms are building up more excitement by announcing four "Mortal Kombat X" limited-edition bundles that all look sleek and perfect on big fans' shelves.

The Premium Edition gives out The Kombat Pack that is available for all platforms. It is priced at $90 and is only obtainable via download.

On the other hand, the "Mortal Kombat X" Limited Edition (at $95), which is only available on GameStop, includes what the Premium Edition offers (The Kombat Pack for PS4 and Xbox One only) but with an exclusive Cold War-inspired Scorpion skin, a product of the partnership of MKKollective.com and NetherRealms.

Meanwhile, the $150 Mortal Kombat X: Kollector's Edition packs four additional playable characters from Klassic Kombatants to iconic guest characters on top of The Kombat Pack to be available on current-generation game consoles. Buyers of this bundle will also bag an in-game gold Scorpion Skin and a special Scorpion figurine that comes with a Certificate of Authenticity made by critically-acclaimed designer Coarse.

Lastly, there's the priciest of them all — the "Mortal Kombat X" Kollector's Edition. This bundle will send gamers to "Mortal Kombat" heaven for sure. It includes a PS4 and Xbox One Kombat Pack, in-game gold Scorpion skin, a really cool copy of "Mortal Kombat X: Blood Ties" Comic Book Volume 1, exclusive Steel Pack and Steel Card and an envying Scorpion statue that simply looks breathtaking. Gamers and collectors can get this pack on Amazon for $180.

All these bundles are now up for pre-order. "Mortal Kombat X" is set to land on all platforms on April 14.
