A report says Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been married for six months.
Australia's NW Magazine alleges that the couple wedded in an intimate ceremony at their house in Malibu, California back in April. "I'm told only a handful of people were there and they're still the only ones who know," a source told the magazine.
The insider added that the couple does not plan on making their marriage a public knowledge anytime soon.
The news comes over a week after the pair was spotted on Georgia's Tybee Island, where they first met on the set of 2010 movie "The Last Song." The 24-year-old pop star and 27-year-old actor were photographed walking around the island hand-in-hand, sporting matching caps and outfits, and both wearing what seems to be a wedding band.
The supposed wedding ring was first seen on Miley's finger in an Instagram post in July 2016.
Hemsworth, for his part, was first seen wearing a band in August. This was spotted by TMZ while he was spending time with Cyrus' mother, Tish, in Kentucky.
Hours after the new rumor from NW Magazine broke, the couple went out for a coffee date in Savannah, Georgia, still wearing the rings that are making all the buzz.
Sources close to the couple, however, insists that these are not wedding bands, but promise rings.
Cyrus and Hemsworth began dating in 2009, while filming for the movie adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks bestseller "The Last Song." The movie was a box-office hit, with a total of over $89 million gross worldwide. The couple's romance lasted well after the movie's fame.
In June 2012, the couple announced their engagement, three months after Cyrus was first spotted wearing an engagement ring at the Los Angeles premiere of Hemsworth's movie "The Hunger Games." A year later, they broke up.
However, to the delight of the couple's many fans, the now more mature Cyrus and Hemsworth got back together early 2016.
