Miami Heat vs Cleveland Cavaliers: 'King' returns to Miami

Lebron James finally makes his much awaited return to Miami as the Cleveland Cavaliers face off with the Miami Heat on Christmas Day.

The King's return is not expected to be a fruitful one after James left the Heat in the offseason to join his former ballclub. James will be facing off against close friends Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, both of whom were left to pick up the vacuum left by James.

Expensive Tickets

The marquee matchup is considered to be one of the most expensive games where ticket prices have reportedly averaged $429.82. The cheapest ticket for the Christmas Day showdown is said to be $98.

Crucial Victory

The Heat need the victory not just to get back at James but to improve on the Eastern Conference standings. As of now, the Heat carry a 13-16 win-loss record behind the Milwaukee Bucks (14-15) and the Cleveland Cavaliers (17-10).

All that could however depend on the bill of health of Wade and Bosh, both of whom have had to deal with injuries. The supporting cast for the dynamic duo will also be something to watch considering the Heat have their hands full trying to contain James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love.

Stopping Uncle Drew

Irving continues to play heads up basketball and is coming of a 29-point performance against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Cavs routed the Timberwolves 125-104.

Love, ironically playing his first game as well against his former ballclub, put in good numbers as well that will be expected on Christmas Day.

Varejao questionable

For Miami, a bit of a reprieve may be coming their way with Anderson Varejao being questionable for the Christmas Day matchup. The Cavs' center had to be helped off the court in the third quarter, favoring his left leg. He left the arena on crutches and is a doubtful starter for the Cleveland-Miami tiff.

The Cavaliers and the Heat will tip-off from 5 p.m. EDT and can be watched on TV on ABC or through live stream by clicking here.
