The new "Married at First Sight" does not bring together strangers in the hopes of finding true love on the aisle but instead follows the journey of the couples the show produced in the previous seasons.

Couples from the show's first season – Cortney and Jon and Jamie and Doug – star in the new season of the FYI series that follows their struggles, fun times and everything in between that happen from the day they all decided to stay in the marriage.

In the upcoming episode for the series, viewers will see Jamie and Doug in the middle of a financial crisis. In a promo for the episode, Jamie opens up about their lack of communication.

"Literally just talk to me and be present with me. That would turn me on," Jamie tells her speechless husband. "We're just so not connecting. If I bring anything heavy up, it's like... brick wall," she continues. Doug did not say a word after that too.

Meanwhile, Cortney and Jon are having problems about the latter being a bit too charming with the girls. Apparently, the fire-fighter has been enjoying huge attention from girls and needless to say, this ultimately made his wife jealous.

In a promo for the upcoming "Married at First Sight: First Year" episode, however, the couple is doing what Jamie and Doug is struggling with – opening up. "I never want Cortney to feel that she can't talk to me about anything, even the hard things," Jon said in the clip.

Cortney cries as she tells her spouse that her grandmother passed away. Jon gives him a big hug, thanked her for being there for him and promised that he will do the same for her as he held her hands.

"Married at First Sight: First Year" season 2 airs Tuesdays on FYI.

Sometimes it's hardest to open up to the people you love most. Can our fave couples come clean with each other on Tuesday's new #MAFSFirstYear?
