'Married at First Sight' updates: Which newlywed couple plans to start a family soon?

After the highly-viewed finale of "Married At First Sight" season one, which aired last Sept. 9, FYI Network prepared a two-hour episode to show how the three couples are doing six months after the controversial reality series was filmed.

The special episode, hosted by ET's Kevin Frazier, will let the viewers take a peek into the lives of the newlyweds after the three pairs – all complete strangers – were matched and married before they even met each other.

The show's youngest couple, Jason Carrion and Cortney Hendrix, had been the fan favorite from the start. That is why it doesn't come as a surprise that the two are progressing beautifully in their marriage, and that Cortney's family finally decided to accept her marriage with Jason.

Meanwhile, Doug Hehner and Jamie Otis are starting to stand by their decision to remain married after the show. They are even planning to have kids soon.

This news was shared by Jamie via her Twitter account, where the veteran reality show star posted a happy photo of her and her husband with a caption, "Talking about how many babies we would want...now I'm asking when can we start having them! #MarriedAtFirstSight."

Avid fans of the show will probably see this as a surprise. Doug and Jamie's marriage seemed to be shaky at first due to Doug's constant lying as well as Jamie's vulnerability and trust issues.  But after they decided to stay together during the finale, it appears that the couple has been making their marriage work. Jamie even posted several photos taken during the wedding of Doug's brother.

On the other hand, Vaughn Copeland and Monet Bell did not have the same happy ending as the other two couples. The initial physical attraction between the two did not last, and they decided to file for a divorce.

Vaughn and Monet decided not to communicate with one another after the cameras ended rolling, but decided to apologize to each other to eliminate the bad blood after the reunion episode taping. Vaughn said, "We squashed the beef, hugged it out and we're friends."

"Marriage at First Sight: Six Months Later" will air on Tuesday, Sept. 16 on ET. The couples will meet again with the four experts in the two-hour episode.

Then on Sept. 30, another special episode entitled "Married at First Sight: Unveiled" will be aired to feature never-before-seen moments and bonus footages from the show.

"Married at First Sight" Season Two is also being prepared as of the moment.
