Apple remains tight-lipped on anything related to its products, one of which is the MacBook Pro 2016. The rumor mill is working double time on the mystery notebook, and many are speculating that it will have a Retina display, Touch ID and a small OLED display screen atop the keyboard. It is also rumored to be showing itself up at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference, slated to happen from June 13 to 17.

Fans are continuously speculating that all models of the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 will be equipped with a Retina display so that everybody can enjoy a better viewing experience on their latest laptop. It is also rumored to carry a Touch ID sensor for added security, and this feature will allow Apple Pay to work on the laptop, as GameNGuide reported.

A short strip of an OLED display touch screen will run on the top area of the keyboard, which is said to replace the function keys and to offer changing functions depending on the active application. This will also provide a level of customization, which will be handy for different individuals.

Previous rumors surrounding the MacBook Pro 2016 included the latest and fastest Skylake processor, as well as an upgraded graphics card. It is also speculated to be equipped with Thunderbolt 3/USB-Type C port that will do the job for other ports. These include faster data transfers, connecting external display monitors, as well as fast-charging the laptop.

MacWorld UK also mentioned that the upcoming MacBook Pro may still have the same screen resolution as the current model, 2304 x 1440, but Apple may bump up the pixel density, from 226 ppi to 400 or 500 ppi.

The report added that a new design might come with the new model, as Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst from KGI Securities, previously suggested. TechRadar mentioned that a detachable screen may come in, similar to Microsoft's Surface Book, as well as a revamped design for its hinge. The upcoming MacBook Pro model is still expected to be lighter and thinner than its predecessor.

Fans will have to wait for a few more weeks before finally seeing the MacBook Pro 2016, if it does exist.
