MacBook Pro 2015 release date, specs: Laptop in 3 sizes, 3K ultra HD Retina display?

It has been quite some time before Apple users have heard any update relating to the MacBook Pro or Mac Book Air but the latest models could be coming out by the middle of this year.

There are strong rumors that the 2015 edition of the Apple MacBook will be revealed this coming June and expectedly with higher specs. The long overdue successor is believed to be more powerful and efficient with the use of new Broadwell chips from Intel.

With the big jump in power, it could also mean that the next MacBook Pro will see a big jump to the 3K ultra HD for its Retina display as well as improved battery life. But while the upgraded specs seem to be something to look forward to, a cause for concern could be the chips that would be used.

Apparently they have not been that impressive if one is to take the reviews in serious consideration and hopefully Apple would need to make extensive testing on the devices to make sure that they are capable of providing the performance that users would need.

Other than that, there are also rumors that the 2015 MacBook Pros will come in different display size options. If this is true, that means that buyers may be able to choose from 12-inch, 13-inch and 15-inch variants once they are available in the market.

As far as the June revelation date is concerned, such is not yet confirmed. However, hopes are high that the release date of the next MacBook Pro would also be announced during a media event which will actually be made to launch the Apple Watch by month's end.

Though the MacBook Pro may not be on the itinerary, a small confirmation on whether it is indeed coming this year could be enough so it would be best to monitor that big media day event in a couple of weeks.
