Macbook Air 2016 release date in time for Black Friday 2015?

There have been quite a lot of talks about the Macbook Air 2016, which is believed to be going to keep Apple busy in the months to come. However, with Black Friday kicking in, new reports now suggest that a new notebook out of Cupertino will be released before the year ends.

The new Air laptop will allegedly be launched alongside another reboot of the Macbook Pro and both will be out early so Apple can take advantage of the yearly shopping bender. However, contrasting reports suggest that the tech firm can and will wait.

As per several media outlets, the iPad Pro, which Apple unveiled in September with the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus as well as the new Apple TV, will serve as the company's yearender and will be the final product it will ever release in 2015.

The giant tablet will reportedly be up for grabs starting Nov. 11 both online and in physical stores. That being said, it is assumed that Apple wouldn't want to steal the thunder from the monstrous slab with an entirely new product, which is why Macbook Air 2016 might not show up anytime soon.

But when it does finally make out of Apple's door, the laptop is expected to be much more powerful. With Microsoft putting out their so-called Macbook- killing hybrid called the Surface Book, Apple should use nothing but the best on the Macbook Air 2016, including Intel's newest chipsets.

Word on the street is that Apple will employ the new-gen Skylake processor, which should help in lowering power consumption while endowing greater power and eliminating the need of a fan inside the notebook.

Furthermore, this unit will allow the tech giant to trim down the size of the device and make it ultra thin and lightweight for a much sleeker look. It is also being said that the Macbook Air 2016 will come in two variants – 13 inches and 15 inches – and will also be endowed with the Force Touch feature.
