'Love & Hip Hop Hollywood' cast news: Ray J done with show, to focus on relationship with Princess Love

"Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" stars Ray J and girlfriend Princess Love hit the headlines several times in the past two months. Their relationship has apparently been in deep water for a while now, and it has gone as far as Princess Love being arrested. So, Ray J decided to quit the reality TV show as he believes it's not helping with his personal life.

In a report headlined Ray J Quits "Love & Hip Hop": I Choose Princess Love Over Money, TMZ shared that the producers of the show are now in panic as the 34-year-old recording artist just quit and left the show. The publication's sources claimed that he has had enough of the "negativity and conflict" that presumably destroyed his relationship with his girlfriend.

Based on the reports that have surfaced in the previous months, the couple's relationship has gone through a lot of wrong turns. In January, TMZ released an audio recording of Ray J calling 9-1-1, saying that he was scared for his life. Princess Love reportedly had a gun and was threatening to kill herself. He said that she might kill him first.

A month later, Princess Love was arrested for domestic violence. According to TMZ, she beat Ray J up and injured him badly, including busting his lip, tearing his ACL, and cracking several ribs. A witness reportedly told the cops that he heard Princess say, "I'm gonna kill you."

A hotel security guy called 9-1-1 after seeing Ray J all bloodied up. The police then arrested Princess Love for domestic abuse and battery, only for her boyfriend to bail her out and even pay for her lawyer.

These two instances could've made the singer just give up on their relationship but instead, he chose to work things out with Princess. A source for TMZ said that Ray J asked the producers if he can shoot scenes that were uplifting and free of conflict, but they disagreed. Hence, Ray J decided that he is done with the show.
