It was once a dream, but now, it has turned into reality. Nothing is more real than seeing the cast and crew of "Longmire" arrive in New Mexico to gear up for filming of another season. Earlier this week, Team Longmire has been busy on the set and, needless to say, they've been busy in social media, too.

When they arrived in New Mexico, actress Katee Sackhoff immediately tweeted : "Hello Santa Fe!!! #Longmire @netflix Lets do this Biotches!!! #VicTheTerror"

As for co-star Lou Diamond Phillips, he also had some tweets to share. On Day 1 of filming, he tweeted: "'Love the smell of a film set in the morning!' Day 1, #LongmireS4 Let's ride!" After getting into his role further, he again tweeted: "Sucks when it's in your job description to get a tan. Work, work, work!" and uploaded a sun-soaked photo of himself with it.

The actors are certainly in a cheerful and excited mood, now that they've been given another season. They're not taking anything for granted, and they're all focused on giving the best season yet for the fans who helped them get back on track. "Longmire" is also set to film in Las Vegas, Pecos, New Mexico and Valles Caldera, reports the Albuquerque Journal. Filming will run until the end of June.

Mayor Javier M. Gonzales of New Mexico is also very happy that "Longmire" returned to do some filming.

He said, "Not only is 'Longmire' a great show that features all the incredible natural beauty of northern New Mexico, it has been critical to helping us build Santa Fe's reputation as the best place to film in the country. We know how much this benefits our local economy and culture, and we're excited they're back."

As of the moment, the show has already employed 100 crew members, 40 extra actors and 1,000 background talents from New Mexico. These numbers account for the total number of employment since season 1.

In Las Vegas, Mayor Alfonso E. Ortiz Jr. also welcomes the show happily.

"We are grateful for the greater visibility the program has brought to Las Vegas, for their positive impact on our economy and for utilizing local talent. The 'Longmire' family is now a Las Vegas family and we welcome their return home with open arms," he said.

It looks like everyone is in a cheerful mood. Even executive producer Greer Shephard shares his enthusiasm about their return, saying, "We love our new home on Netflix, but we're even more excited to be back working in our beloved home of New Mexico where we are treated so well."
