U.S. carriers are prepairing for the imminent arrival of the all new LG G4, and users are wondering when the actual date of availability falls. U.S. Cellular customers who are raring to get a unit for themselves will be happy to know that they can do so starting May 29.

A customer asked the company via Twitter about the availability of the LG handset, and U.S. Cellular revealed that customers can pre-order the LG G4 on the said date either through physical stores of the carrier or online.

The network carrier did not reveal the pricing or the color options (the device comes in Grey, White, Gold, Leather Black, Leather Brown, and Leather Red) that will be put on offer but that piece of the puzzle should be filled soon seeing that users are only three days away from the pre-order date.

The LG G4 is a major revamp from its predecessor, the LG G3, which enjoyed gracious reviews during its time. The latest in the lineup boasts a 5.5-inch display (1440 x 2560 pixels) that renders a pixel density of 538 ppi, which gives it a sharp and crisp visual quality.

It owes its power to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and it has 32 GB of storage that is expandable to 128 GB with a microSD card. Its hefty 3 GB RAM is expected to contribute to its smooth performance. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop straight out of the box.

The LG G4 features a 16-megapixel camera on the back that has LED flash and optical image stabilization and allows high definition video recording. It also works great in low light conditions, as the company touts. Users will be able to take great selfies with its 8-megapixel front-facing snapper.
