
LG G3 is bound to be released in the US next week and the pre-orders for the device are ongoing.
According to reports, Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T are the three carriers to offer the latest LG G3. According to MarketWatch, AT&T began taking pre-orders for the LG G3 with LTE on July 8. Moreover, the carrier will hold a sale in different retail locations on July 11.
"We've been working diligently to be the first U.S. carrier to offer the brand new LG G Watch and among the first to offer the LG G3 smartphone on the nation's most reliable 4G LTE network," said AT&T senior vice president of devices Jeff Bradley.
"AT&T offers one of the largest and best selections of LG devices and these products take our device portfolio to the next level. The LG G3 is a cutting-edge device and our first in a next-gen Quad HD display," he added quickly.
Meanwhile, T-Mobile has already started the pre-orders of the LG G3. The device costs $608.8 for the unlocked version, including taxes and fees, and units are scheduled to hit the retail stores on July 16. T-Mobile is also offering the LG G3 for as low as $24.95 per month with a binding 24-month contract.
For the branding, T-Mobile has a white logo of the company placed at the lower back of the device, while the AT&T logo is placed on the middle of the back panel.
According to the spec sheet of LG G3, the handset will feature a 5.5-inch True HD-IPS + LCD capacitive touchscreen; a quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPU and a Qualcomm MSM8975AC Snapdragon 801 chipset; 13 megapixel primary back camera with optical image stabilization, phase detection and dual-LED flash and 2.1 MP front facing camera; and 3000 mAh battery.
The handset is available in two variants: the 16GB version will pack 2GB of RAM and the 32GB model will pack a 3GB RAM. Both devices are equipped with microSD slot for additional external storage of up to 128GB. Moreover, the handset will run with Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS, which will be upgraded to Android 4.4.4 version update.
