Here is another potential midrange smartphone variant from Lenovo which should hit the market soon. Leaked photos of the Lenovo A7600-M have come out in the open, carrying a design that brings into mind another variant called the Lenovo A600 due to similarities in design and style.
Based on the leaked photos, noticeable are the familiar on-screen buttons, speaker grill, snapper and sensor. Everything seems to be kept inside a plastic chassis that is surrounded by a metal band.
Internally, the phone does offer some decent specs that should be sufficient for folks looking at a reliable everyday phone.
The phablet-sized A7600-M will feature a 5.5-inch display with 720p resolution and will draw its power from an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor. It will also have 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, Dual SIM support and 4G LTE capable.
The Lenovo A7600-M will have a 13MP rear camera while a 5MP camera will be available up front. Rounding up the specs that the phone carries is a 3000 mAh battery. The A7600-M will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The Lenovo A7600-M has already garnered TENAA certification a couple of months ago (the counterpart of the FCC) in China. For now there is no official word on how much the Lenovo A7600-M will cost though rumors suggest that it may be priced for about $160 or 1000 YUAN. The device is expected to debut first in Japan. There is no word on when it would debut in the international market as of this writing.
While Lenovo may not necessarily be the first thing that comes into mind when one thinks of getting a smartphone, its pricing structure is undoubtedly one that could work in their favour.
The phone should be able to attract consumers looking for a stylish phone to satisfy the basic needs (calls, text and web browsing) in the daily routine. The camera and apps which the Lenovo A7600-M accommodates should be tempting as well but may end up secondary especially when you talk about executives and business-minded smartphone users.
