The DC Extended Universe movie, "Justice League," is coming very soon, and fans cannot help but continue speculating about it. Not all speculations, however, have been positive since comic book fans have doubted the film's faithfulness in the comics. In a press conference recently held in London, Aquaman actor, Jason Momoa, had promised fans of the comic books that the upcoming movie "Aquaman" will not disappoint.

In a report by Gamespot, Momoa addressed the doubters of the "Aquaman" movie directly. The actor confidently said, "For the people who are like, 'He's not really Aquaman,' it's like, just wait a little bit longer." Momoa referred to the solo "Aquaman" movie, and it would appear that he has complete confidence that the film will deliver for both moviegoers and comic book fans alike.

Even if the movie is not set to be released until December of 2018, Momoa has already revealed that the movie will be an origin film for the super hero. Arthur Curry, the real name of Aquaman, will be depicted as a half-Atlantean and half-human being who has struggled his whole life to cope with his powers as well as being ostracized by both races. This synopsis could potentially be very relatable given the human element in the narrative.

Observant fans have even noticed that in the trailer for the "Justice League" film, Aquaman was not even using his iconic trident. As reported by Comic Book, Momoa revealed that the five-pronged weapon in the trailer was indeed not Aquaman's trident, but a weapon that he had borrowed from Mera, played by Amber Heard. Aquaman obviously still needs a weapon, but fans will not get to see the trident until the actual "Aquaman" film.

"Justice League" will be released on Nov. 17 in theaters everywhere. The film also stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Ezra Miller.
