Jeremy Lin news: Lin says he's burned out despite forgettable season

Jeremy Lin barely got to see action seeing that the Asian-American player would be seen sitting on the bench and sidelined due to injuries for some part of the recent Lakers' campaign.

Regardless, Lin admits having been burned out and eventually wanting to be lazy after a forgettable tenure with the Lakers fold.

It is practically imminent that Lin is bound to be playing elsewhere next season and looking back at the 2014-15 season, Lin bares the mental strain from a tedious season which includes differences with coach Byron Scott and resident Laker star Kobe Bryant.

Hence, it seems that Lin suffered more mentally then physically though all that could possibly be resolved as early as July when he tests the free agent market. The Lakers are not expected to bring back Lin and for now, it remains a mystery where the former Harvard University graduate will play next.

There are of course rumors of him heading to Denver, especially with Ty Lawson rumored to be on the trading block. The prospects of seeing Linsanity in Denver could be picked up a notch as well if the team does indeed go for Mike D' Antoni as their next head coach.

To date, the Nuggets remain without a head coach and there is no strong candidate being floated around.

Back to Lin, he practically confirmed his departure from LA by saying goodbye to the fans informally.

There is no clear picture on what lies ahead for Lin although critics believe that he may need to take a pay cut if he intends to stay on in the NBA.

Lin's salary has been a concern by most teams and considering a lot of free agents who have been more consistent than him, hooking up with another team next season could be tough.

Aside from that, there are also the impending entry of top guards in the coming NBA Draft led by D' Angelo Russell and Emmanuel Mudiay.
