Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck news: Youngest child Samuel leaves 'love note' for stranger

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's youngest child, Samuel, leaves a love note for a stranger and had the internet gushing.

As millions of Americans celebrated the legend of Martin Luther King Jr., the five-year-old son of the A-list couple reminded the world that even young children could make a change.

Garner had her followers, including Hollywood stars Reese Witherspoon and Zoe Saldana, saying "aaawwww" when she posted a love note her son Samuel left in a library book.

The note says, "Hello, you are loved. I believe in you." It was signed with a heart drawing.

In the caption, the 45-year-old mother said, "When the librarian finds a love note your son tucked into a picture book."

The post was flooded with good comments, calling Samuel a "sweet" child and praising Garner for her "awesome parenting."

"A testament to what a wonderful mother you must be. So sweet!" one of the comments says. Garner responded with a joke, however, saying "I think he learned it all in preschool."

The "Alias" star knows how not to take full credit for her son's upbringing. After all, she is co-parenting him, along with daughters Violet, 12 and Seraphina, 9, with ex-husband Ben Affleck.

Just last weekend, the former lovers were spotted together as they cheered on Samuel for a basketball game in Brentwood. A few days before that, sources also told E! News that they celebrated Seraphina's 9th birthday as a family in Garner's home.

Affleck and Garner were married for 10 years, before they made their separation public in 2015. They have yet to finalize their divorce, which they filed in 2017.

While they remain in an amicable relationship for their children, the "Argo" star has since moved on with his love life. He is currently in a relationship with "Saturday Night Live" producer Lindsay Shookus.

Garner, for her part, was recently rumored to be dating Josh Duhamel, who announced his split from his wife Fergie a few months back. Gossip Cop has since debunked the rumor.
