Many Apple fans are expecting big changes to come with the rumored iPhone 7. It is believed that a new processor, the A10, will be used on this unit. It is also said that it is now ready and the iPhone 7 is on a trial production run. Moreover, rumor has it that it will be coming in three models, Standard, Plus, and Pro.
WCCFTech reported that, based on Chinese website MyDrivers, the development of the A10 processor for the next mobile devices of Apple is finished and is on a trial production run by TSMC and Samsung. The power amplifier is also reportedly included in the production run.
The report added that the gears have been turning for the other components for the upcoming phone for a time now, and it concluded that the company seems to be right on track for its iPhone 7 plans.
Several technology experts were saying that Apple's upcoming flagship phone will feature several design changes, and these are major ones compared to its predecessor. Word on the street is that the iPhone 7 will be thinner and that the 3.5 mm headphone jack will be taken out of the design. A Lightning port will then be placed. This will take care of the charging, data transfer, and audio. A Lightning port adaptor sporting a 3.5 mm headphones jack was also previously rumored, in case consumers would prefer to use their existing headphones.
Additionally, there has been talk for a while now that the upcoming iPhone 7 will be available in three variants. There will be two screen sizes, similar to its predecessor, 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches. The 5.5-inch will have two variants, one with the standard camera similar to its smaller brother, while the other one will have a dual camera system -- another major design change for the next phone.
More information is expected to become available in the near future as parts production has already started, allegedly.
