September - the month most analysts predict a new iPhone device will be launched - is still months away and it remains to be seen what phone Apple will have to offer.
There are some who believe that it could be the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus coming, which would indicate a smaller, internal upgrade to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. However there are others who claim the company will make a much bigger jump to the iPhone 7. So which will it be?
For now there is no clear indication on which handset will make its debut in September. It could be even both the iPhone 6S and iPhone 7 but such would not make sense. On a conservative side, it seems likely that Apple would lean more on an iPhone 6S or 6S Plus coming but an immediate jump can never really be discounted.
If both were to come out, one may eventually become a casualty though pricing could be a crucial selling point. And of course, knowing how Apple fans take pride in getting the latest devices (as long as it is affordable) an iPhone 7 would be preferred by the large majority.
According to Apple Insider, the new device will be an iPhone 6S. If this is the case, Apple fans may expect the Apple SIM (a universal SIM card) to come pre-installed. Some even believe it could come equipped with a 12MP camera too.
Aside from those mentioned, it could feature wireless charging and a Touch ID Fingerprint sensor as well. Internally, speculations are coming in that the next iPhone could be powered by an A9 chip backed with 2GB of RAM as well.
The features in mention could be suited for either the iPhone 6S or the iPhone 7 but if you want to place a bet, an iPhone 6S seems to be more feasible given the said features.
Unveiling an iPhone 7 would be neat but when you talk about the fast-changing technology and enhancements that could be integrated into them, it could be best to save much of those future tech for the iPhone 7, maybe at least until next year.
