iPad 4 Mini rumors: Will the next iPad Mini come out this October?

iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3

Ever since Apple launched the first iPad Mini, a lot of consumers had hope that the initial specs would eventually gain some ground through succeeding models. Having lower specs than the actual iPad, the iPad 2 and the iPad 3 have so far floundered in addressing those expectations.

However with speculations that the iPad Mini 4 could come out in October, the same hope lies on the horizon.

Apple had tried to address initial issues with the original iPad Mini like the low resolution screen and other internals with the iPad 2 and 3 but if leaked photos and rumors hold true, we could be seeing some more improvements in form of size and actual product make as well as the internal processors.

Rumors have it that the iPad Mini 4 will probably have a processor upgrade to A8X which is used on the iPad Air 2 and 2GB of RAM to go with it. If true, this should be welcome news to aspiring iPad users which is likely to take a load off when you think about the power requirements as well as the battery life to keep it alive and kicking.

Could we see a new or upgraded display screen or overall form design? Considering that it could be priced fairly to about $529 for the WiFi + Cellular and $399 for the WiFi only versions, the iPad Mini 4 could come with minimal changes in that area. The best chance is to see it slimmed down with most of the upgrades coming from within.

As far as launching it in either June, July or even October, such poses questions as well. And among them include the question on would it be wise to launch a mini version of the larger and more powerful iPad Pro or Plus.

If so, either the iPad Mini 4 or the iPad Pro/Plus will get the attention and demand, meaning one may suffer. Again, all of these are rumors so please stay tuned for more posts and updates regarding the iPad Mini 4.
