High Tech Computer Corporation or HTC is rumored to be releasing their latest flagship phone anytime soon. It was originally called HTC One M10 or Perfume (codename), but is simply referred to now as the HTC 10. It is also now said to be carrying a Super LCD 5 screen and will have a 3,000 mAh battery.

Most of the specs of the upcoming HTC 10 smartphone have been leaked online, images included, giving the impression that it is already official. Surprisingly, there are still some secrets tucked away in the Taiwan headquarters of HTC. It was previously rumored to be carrying an AMOLED display screen, and no information on its battery.

However, Evan Blass, the famous leakster, posted the latest rumors with regard to the display screen and battery capacity of the rumored HTC 10.

He said, "Not sure if this has been reported yet, but HTC 10 features a super LCD 5 display - not AMOLED. Battery = 3000mAh."

According to an old report by Techradar, Super LCD and AMOLED screens are two of the best screen technologies available today, and have been popular on Android phones. HTC has been the biggest consumer of Super LCD screens. Super LCD is known to be low in power consumption and provides easier viewing because of the eliminated gap between the outer glass and the actual LCD, which also gives great viewing angles. The air gap is common with the standard LCD.

However, it cannot provide a true black color since every pixel is lit up.

The Super LCD started out with a partnership between Sony and Samsung; it is now fully owned by Samsung.

Going back to the HTC 10, the next flafship phone is rumored to be sporting a 5.15-inch QHD display screen, a Snapdragon 820 SoC chip, 4 GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage (expandable to 200GB via microSD slot). It is also said to be carrying a 12MP camera with a dual-LED flash, a USB Type-C port and a fingerprint sensor on the home button and, with its rumored 3,000 mAh battery capacity, it will be slightly bigger than the recently released Samsung Galaxy S7.

HTC India has posted on its Twitter account that the HTC 10's camera will be "world class."

The HTC 10 is still not official since no announcement has been made by the Taiwanese tech giant. It is expected to be released sometime in April.
