'Homeland' season 5 premiere date; Episode 1 spoilers - Carrie and Quinn to be reunited?

 Wikipedia

To date, there is no actual date when 'Homeland' season 5 would be officially raising the curtains. However, one thing that is for sure is that season 5 will have 12 new episodes.

The actual time and date is still under wraps but it is believed that the series will kick off in mid-October or the fall, the same time other seasons have premiered.

To recall, the fourth season ended Carrie juggling her career while at the same time holding mother duties as she tried to cope with the loss of her father. In the finale, Carrie crossed paths with her estranged mother, met her half brother and comes to terms with her true feelings for Quinn.

Hence, with new characters inserted into the fray, season 5 promises a whole new series of twists and questions for Homeland fans.

But the thing is, the main storyline for season 5 will only be decided this coming March. Admitting that they have an array of options to consider, the final verdict on which direction the series would head may be finalized next month.

One angle that fans will surely be curious to find out is how Carrie's admission on his feeling to Quinn will pan out. With Quinn headed to Syria, it should be interesting to see if he and Carrie would be reunited somewhere along season 5.

And apparently, the setting is still up in the air.

The setting will be set somewhere but may no longer be in Pakistan. And on that note, the plot of the new season could see a change as well meaning that it may no longer focus on US foreign policy and US Intelligence. In fact, there is a possibility that the setting could be brought back in US waters.

All that aside, season 5 should be interesting with the romantic twist between Carrie and Quinn and the new characters introduced at the end of season 4. Its speculated debut in October should be something worth checking out.
