'Heroes of the Storm' game updates: Skeleton King becomes latest addition

Game company Blizzard Entertainment has announced, in a new trailer, the new hero coming to "Heroes of the Storm" — Leoric from "Diablo." The melee warrior brings along a unique trait upon his entry in the game that players will surely love.

Called "Undying," the trait allows him to decrease the cool down time it takes for him to respawn. When he said that he can "haunt the battleground even after his death" and that "he could never be killed again," the Skeleton King was dead serious.

When Leoric dies in "Heroes of the Storm," he can still be in play in the form of a ghost. He still has the ability to slow down enemies via his Skeleton Swing skill and heal himself with Drain Hope. He still has use of Wraith Walk, which gives him a short movement speed buff. Once Leoric becomes a ghost, his abilities inflict no damage.

The king's Ultimate abilities include Entomb, which creates an unpathable tomb that traps enemies for four seconds. The other ability is March of the Black King. This allows him to do some damage in everything while he heals himself.

To get to try all these, players can either shed 15,000 gold or buy the Skeleton King with real world money from the "Heroes of the Storm" store.

Skeleton King is part of a special "Diablo" multiweek event called Eternal Conflict. He is the third of the four heroes included. The last but definitely not the least is Monk, which should be gracing the Nexus soon as well.

In other "Heroes of the Storm" related news, Blizzard made some changes in the game's matchmaking process so players new to the game won't have to worry about squaring off against an old hand gamer.
